Stora Enso

IPP sells Stora Enso’s wide range of folding boxboard. The fiber for their cardboard comes from sustainably managed forests and from trees that are a renewable resource.  

The fresh fiber and strong, multilayer structure of Stora’s cartons offer benefits such as high strength and stiffness at a lower weight. This in turn results in excellent handling, reliable packaging performance and high material efficiency, allowing you to reduce weight without sacrificing packaging integrity.  

IPP offers the following qualities, among others:

CKB™ > Rigid, sturdy and food-safe, CKB is the champion of coated unbleached kraft for food packaging and more. The unique brown color on the back (and on both sides with CKB Nude) gives it a decidedly natural look and feel.

Ensocoat™> Luxury and durability go hand in hand with this SBS board. The  smooth and snow-white Ensocoat from Stora Enso is made from renewable fibers from sustainably managed forests and is the most luxurious natural material on the market. It is available both one-sided and two-sided coated.

Tambrite™ > A renewable and recyclable GC2 board made from wood and pulp fibers, it is known for its low weight and efficiency in converting and filling lines. Tambrite is available as hard-sized (HS) and barrier-coated. The material is made to reduce plastic when packaging frozen and refrigerated foods.  

Performa™ > A low CO2 produced, lightweight FBB that meets many packaging needs. Performa™ is a product family of GC1 and GC2 board for high-performance folding cartons, available with a coating on the top and choice of coated or uncoated on the back.

Tamfold™ > Tamfold is lightweight and food-safe GC2 paperboard made with virgin fibers. It offers excellent value for fast food boxes and clamshells.  

Of the grades listed, most are also available with a barrier. Some with a PE, BIOPE or Green PE coating, others with a dispersion coating. Like specialty carton for the purpose of cupstock or an ovenable carton provided with a PET coating.

In 2025, Stora Enso will launch two new grades: Performa Nova (GC2) and Performa Lumi (GC1) which will be supplied by IPP as soon as they are available.
