Microflute
Microcorrugated board is a corrugated board with smaller corrugated structures than traditional corrugated board. It consists of a composite material of corrugated paper with a one- or two-sided liner. Microcorrugated board is a thin, strong and high bulk board that allows you to reduce weight while maintaining strength and stiffness (compared to a traditional folding carton). It offers a smooth surface that makes it well suited to printing.
The corrugated board offered by IPP is versatile and can be adapted to different packaging designs. It can be die-cut, folded and formed to meet specific packaging requirements. Due to the material’s multilayer construction and the air chambers created, it possesses good insulating properties. This makes it excellent for use as food packaging. In the case of a pizza box, it retains the heat of the pizza and in the case of frozen packaging, it keeps the heat out.
