The German mill Sihl creates innovative solutions with premium coatings. From the production site in Düren, they produce specialized materials for the graphics and packaging industries.
IPP offers these qualities, among others:
PicoFilm > High-quality coated films with specific properties, for applications where conditions demand more protection and strength: waterproof, heat-resistant, tear-resistant, chemical-resistant and more. Suitable for toner-based printing.
Enduro > Strong, tear-resistant material composed of two outer layers of paper, excellent printing and an intermediate layer of film, making it tear-resistant and waterproof.
Tickettherm > thermal paper and board from 100 gsm upwards in thermal topcoated and eco grades. The TOPcoated grades have an additional protective coating, which better protects the thermal layer from external influences.
As a specialist in coatings, Sihl lays the foundation for future-proof products. Sihl is strong in the lamination of papers and plastics, coating of plastics and thermal coating of paper, cardboard and films.
More than 400 employees contribute to the success of Sihl’s clients from a wide range of industries, in almost every country in the world.
