NexFlex® Flexible Packaging Paper
IPP represents Koehler’s Flexible Packaging Paper exclusively in the Benelux market. The NexFlex product range is Koehler’s link to the future. It offers innovative and reliable papers suitable for various applications. Both for primary packaging – in direct contact with food – and secondary packaging suc as pouches, flow packs, wraps, lidding and more.
NexFlex papers are made from virgin fibers, are 100% recyclable and available starting at 22 g/m2. NexFlex is constantly being developed with new grades and a reduction in grammage. All NexFlex papers have the appropriate certification for safe food packaging.
NexPlus®
NexPlus grades are ideal as primary or secondary packaging. The paper is available with different properties: seal and with barrier against oxygen, water vapor, fats and/or mineral oils (mosh moah). The fully recyclable and sustainable packaging material is the solution in the transition from plastic to paper packaging.
NexCoat®
NexCoat is a one-sided coated paper with high gloss for a luxurious appearance. It is suitable for food, label and gift paper applications. The various variants each have their own application: NexCoat Smart for general packaging, NexCoat Lid for e.g. yogurt lids and NexCoat Banderol for wrapping products.
NexPure®
NexPure is an uncoated paper with a natural look and feel and durable character. NexPure is thin, strong and flexible for good machine processing. It is available in two grades: NexPure Smart as a base paper for various applications and as the basis for the NexPlus series, and NexPure Tea specially designed for tea envelopes.
About Koehler Paper
Koehler Paper has been a renowned German paper specialist for more than 210 years. The family-owned company produces over 500,000 tons of specialty papers annually with state-of-the-art technologies and machinery, and distributes paper to more than 120 countries worldwide.
In 2016, the Koehler Innovative Solutions division launched a search for a paper that could replace plastic. This resulted in the product division Flexible Packaging Paper. At the plant in Kehl (with an area of no less than 80,000m2), a state-of-the-art Voith production line was implemented in 2019 to manufacture thin and durable packaging papers with innovative barriers.
