Are efficiency and speed important? Then thermal paper is often the solution. With thermal paper, the color is in the coating and the printable image becomes visible by using heat. Thermal paper is widely used in logistics, lottery, food, transportation, POS and events, among others. IPP supplies a wide range of thermal paper in topcoated and non-topcoated varieties.  

Topcoated thermal paper 

This type of paper has an additional protective coating on the top. This coating helps to improve print quality and can increase print durability. The top-coated paper is often more resistant to external influences, such as moisture, oil and UV light, which helps the prints stay legible longer. It is often used in applications where high quality and longer print life are required.

Non-topcoated thermal paper

This paper does not have an additional protective layer like the top-coated variety. Non-topcoated thermal paper is therefore less resistant to environmental conditions. It is often used for applications where prints have a shorter life or where cost savings are an important factor.
