Barrier Paper
Barrier paper – also called barrier-coated paper – is a packaging material that provides protection against moisture, grease and gases, among other things. The paper provides an effective solution for maintaining the quality and freshness of packaged products and providing protection from external factors. The variety of properties makes barrier paper useful for many applications.
IPP offers two different grades of barrier paper. We sell a sealable MG kraft paper with dispersion coating. This is a sustainable solution, as it is rated as a mono-material and – according to the strictest regulations – can be recycled with waste paper. IPP also supplies PE-coated packaging paper, which makes it a suitable barrier paper for moist and oily conditions.
