Spunbond

Spunbond is a soft, flexible and strong product suitable for protective and hygiene applications. It is also known as nonwoven fabric, underlay or roofing film.

Spunbond consists basically of plastic fibers. Depending on the production process, the structure can vary from very open to very closed. IPP’s spunbond is produced via a dry laid process, where the joining of the polypropylene fibers is done via a heat process. Due to its composition, spunbond is characterized by its light weight, vapor permeability, insulating effect and high tear resistance.
