SBS board

SBS stands for Solid Bleached Sulphate board. A high quality single or multilayer coated wood-free board widely used for its strength, clarity and excellent print surface.

It is made from bleached new wood fibers. Because it is bleached, it has a bright white surface. Its high brightness and smooth surface makes it ideal for high-quality printing. Multilayer sulfate board is much less likely to break on the crease lines due to the special manufacturing process.

Sulfate board is also often used for greeting cards because this quality is less likely to yellow.
