history

Henk Kuiper establishes IPP International Paper & Plastic. With Mayr-Melnhof as a partner, IPP focuses mainly on cardboard and paper.

1978

IPP starts representing and selling packaging film.

1986

Jeroen Kuiper - current owner/director and son of Henk Kuiper - starts his carreer at IPP.

1996

IPP acquires Neocarta bv to start selling more specialised products.

1997

After working 23 years as representation and later as agent for Mayr-Melnhof , IPP and Mayr-Melnhof separate and continue on their own.

2001

Jeroen Kuiper takes over 100% of his father' s shares.

2003

IPP acquires Delta Paper International, returning to cardboard busisness - after Mayr-Melnhof's farewell.

2004

To become more competitive, IPP is starting intercontinental cardboard sales with the addition of Roxcel Benelux.

2006

IPP 's focus over the years has increasingly moved towards specialised products, with the market entry into the nonwoven industry in 2009 .

2009

A new representation in food packaging papers.

2012

With a vast knowledge of cartonboard and applications, IPP starts direct supply of processed materials, such as laminated cartonboard.

2014

With the acquisition of six representatives and seven employees from the bankrupt PaperlinX , IPP is entering a new phase with a strong expansion in cartonboard, and specialties range and a strengthening and broadening of the IPP team.

2015

IPP acquires the Belgium company Daniel Fain. With representations in corrugated board, paper and cartonboard for a broad customer base, Daniel Fain provides a good basis to strengthen and expand its market position in Belgium and France.

2020

IPP International Paper & Plastic changes name to IPP Packaging Materials.

2021

IPP Packaging Materials GmbH was founded. And with that, we are officially established in Germany.
