PET laminate

PET laminate is a laminate made of paper or cardboard with a PET coating. PET is a plastic that is widely used because of its good barrier properties, clarity and strength.

In the lamination process, a layer of PET is applied to the paper to improve its properties. PET laminate makes the material resistant to tearing and perforation, highly resistant to moisture, temperature and light, and extends the shelf life of the packaged products and keeps them fresh.

PET laminate can be used for foods that are cooked in the packaging or heated in a microwave or oven. It is often used in flexible packaging applications such as bags and pouches.
